Wilco played at The Tivoli in Brisbane last Friday, they're one of my all time favourite bands, I've seen them I think four times, they've been amazing each time. Always a challenge to shoot, there is so much going on, but I inevitably end up focusing on Jeff Tweedy, I get the impression he's not the biggest fan of being photographed, but there is such character in his face. beautiful work, as usual stephen!!! i caught the first melbourne show and had my first wilco epiphany… i saw them twice many years ago at big day outs in melbourne and gold coast, but was stupidly unaware of their awesomeness. i have now seen the light!!!

Aww, thanks Lou! Yeah totally one of my top five bands, and yes I think I’ve probably enjoyed the theatre shows more than festival sets? There’s an amazing documentary on Wilco called ‘I am trying to break your heart’ check it out, it’s awesome.

Lovely photography. And yeah, he doesn’t look pleased to be on stage, but I’m sure he’s just concentrating on the performance.
