The Dead Weather played at The Tivoli last night, awesome show, louder, dirtier and more raw than I had expected. Loved it. Here's Alison Mosshart, more photos to come, the lighting was a challenge but tons of fun to shoot. As my friend L said, too much sexy : )

Hi Stephen! Great shot. As you probably saw from my tweet this morning, I’ve uploaded some amateur shots to myauralfixation.blogspot.com, but I had a few problems with the lighting: damn the blue lights and strobes! This is a fantastic photo of Alison; isn’t she just the finest fox? You’ve captured her energy and sass; she is a fantastic frontwoman. I thought I’d be there drooling at Jack all night but, oddly, I was so transfixed with Alison that Jack kinda faded into the background. It was an awesome gig, so much energy and SO sexy. Glad I opted for it vs seeing Massive Attack again. Sometimes I like to see bands of the moment instead of bands of the past.

These are really great Stephen. It’s kinda interesting reading the comments from other photographers who were there on Tues but you’ve done a really good job.
